Northside Festival & The New School are proud to present Alexis Cuadrado’s original score set to a screening of Charlie Chaplin's 1917 silent film, The Immigrant. To commemorate the film's 100th anniversary and ever-relevant comment on the immigrant experience, a student ensemble from The New School's College of Performing Arts will perform a live accompaniment to Chaplin's masterpiece, integrating diverse genres such as ragtime, modern jazz. and new music.

Barcelona-born and Brooklyn-based Alexis Cuadradro. is an award winning composer, bassist. and faculty member of the School of Jazz at The New School's College of Performing Arts.
