Event description

Description

In this workshop participants will use the "Karpman Drama Triangle" to learn the maladaptive conflictual positions of Persecutor, Rescuer and Victim. You will then develop and practice the corresponding healthy role positions to help you get "off the triangle" and respond effectively and compassionately to yourself and others when in conflict situations. Utilizing psychodrama we will visit unhealthy locked-in thinking and often unconscious defensive relating patterns in past and present relationships which are often learned in early childhood. Please join us in this healing workshop as we utilize cutting-edge therapeutic methods of change including cognitive behavioral and experiential methods to learn healthier connecting and relating with ourselves and others.

17 Hours can be credited toward psychodrama certification by the American Board of Examiners in Sociometry, Group Psychodrama, and Psychotherapy.
