Interested in learning how to meditate to unplug and reduce stress?

Join us and let an experienced meditation teacher guide you through a range of modern meditation techniques and relaxing exercises designed to calm your mind. 


By practicing meditation, you will begin to feel: 

  • Less stressed, anxious, and depressed
  • Happier and more empowered
  • Less reactive and irritable
  • More focused, productive and confident

Weekly class takes place every Thursday at 6pm.

Drop-ins welcome. Rate is $10 per class.

  • Mindful in the City has no religious affiliations, our classes are suitable for everyone.
  • No experience is necessary for your first class. We'll help you feel comfortable right from the start!

What should I wear?

Anything comfortable! 

What if I can't stop thinking?

Thinking is natural in meditation. The goal isn't to stop thinking, it's to become aware of your thoughts and redirect them to a single focal point. We'll discuss this more in class and help you along the way. Think of it as training for your mind. It just takes practice!

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

TTC: Take the Queen West streetcar to Queen & Augusta.

Parking: There's a Green P parking lot on Augusta on the north side of Queen. There is also street parking if available.
