Event Details

On June 9, 2011, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Institute of Medicine (IOM) will hold the 2nd annual Health Data Initiative Forum.  This event is designed to showcase innovation and technologies that will improve health and wellness.The main (fully booked) event will take place in Washington, DC.

In keeping with its mission of fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing, the Path of the Blue Eye Project is bringing the Health Data Initiative Forum to New York City via a special free unNiched(micro) Health Data-polloza  Satellite event.  During this breakfast attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • View a portion of Forum proceedings remotely
  • Network with others interested in marrying health data and technoology to improve communication, outcomes and spark behavior change in patients and health providers
  • Hear executives from HHS and other organizations discuss the implications of the Forum for innovation, outcomes and health communications
