About this event

The University Community Plan Update (CPU) is hosting a Virtual Town Hall in coordination with the Online Engagement Platform.

The City of San Diego is currently in the process of updating the University Community Plan, which was last updated in 1987. The updated Community Plan will provide direction for the long-term development of the community, including concepts for land use, urban design, parks, mobility, jobs, and housing.

Now is your opportunity to review these land use options and make your voice heard! The planning team has launched the University Online Engagement Platform: Choose Your Community!, which proposes two to three options for change within five focus areas.

The Town Hall will provide an opportunity for students to learn more about the University CPU and to ask questions about the Online Engagement Platform, which is located here: https://bit.ly/2ZMGSOw and will be open until October 31st!

Attendees are welcome to virtually "stop by" the Town Hall at any time between 5:00 and 7:00pm. Representatives from the University CPU Project will be on hand to answer questions related to mobility, urban design, parks and open space, historic resources, and much more!
