We are excited to bring some of the most prominent and influential Muslim political leaders to this event to share the importance for American Muslims who are seeking a voice in politics. This event is open to all and the main theme or purpose is to educate and motivate the Muslim community in NJ to get involved in civic duty at local and county levels and in Law Enforcement. Please order your ticket and your guests tickets early so that we can ensure that there is enough space.

Our civic engagement should uphold piety and righteousness. Allah says in the Qu’ran:

• Dean Obeidallah - Dean, a lawyer turned writer and award winning comedian, has been using his skills to both entertain and educate people for years. He’s the host of SiriusXM radio’s daily program "The Dean Obeidallah show" making him the first Muslim American to host a national radio show. Dean writes weekly for The Daily Beast and for CNN.com Opinion. He has also written articles for various other publications including The Atlantic, The Washington Post and The Huffington Post.
