Description

We welcome Brad Scott [Wildbranch Ministry - www.wildbranch.org] in Perth to share from the Bible in its Hebraic context, encouraging believers in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and followers of Messiah Yeshua (Christ Jesus) to dwell in UNITY and as a COMMUNITY.

FREE event in Perth starts on Friday evening 3 November and continues all-day Saturday 4 November, with limited FREE registration open now. Tea/Coffee provided both days, with BYO Lunch on Saturday.

Wildbranch Ministry is based upon Apostle Paul's letter to the Romans, Chapter 11. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, has reached out to the nations and grafted wild branches from among the nations into the natural olive tree. The natural olive tree is the covenant people of God, beginning with the seed of the woman in Genesis. The natural and wild branches share a common root and both take their nutrition and sustenance from this very old natural tree. We, as wild branches, have been grafted in, contrary to our nature, a nature that has been mixed with the ways of the nations. Wildbranch Ministry focus is to restore the ways of our Creator to His people, by teaching the Old and New Testaments from the language and culture of of the people who penned them. The New Testament is crammed full of idioms, phrases and concepts, known to the observant Jews living in the time of Yeshua (Jesus) ministry, but unfamiliar to many modern readers. The Scriptures should be read in the right context and through the eyes and minds of the culture in which It was written.

Brad Scott has been teaching the Scriptures since 1971. Raised in Missouri, he began in the Lutheran church and was taught traditional Christian theology. In 1978, he began his studies in the Greek language and soon discovered that the well-defined Greek structure was not so well-defined. He soon began to learn the Hebrew language, and sat at the feet of Rabbinical scholars, much the same way Apostle Paul may have done so. Brad is an ordained minister through a non-denominational pastoralship. He has been teaching the Hebrew language and culture since 1983. Brad is not only one of the most knowledgeable scholars in the US on the ancient Hebrew language, but goes beyond that by explaining how the language of the Scriptures in ever letter points to the creation all around us and embedded in the creation is the meaning of every word of our Bible. His unique perspective takes Biblical words back to their agricultural background and child-like simplicity in the opening chapters of Genesis.

Brad is a professional musician as well, and enjoys leading or just participating with Praise and Worship teams by playing keyboard and singing. Although he plays all styles of music, Brad enjoys the Messianic style best! Brad is available to conduct Scripture seminars, lead praise and worship, perform Passover seders, share during Feast of Tabernacles (like the one this year, right now in New Zealand) Although he may be vertically challenged, he does have a good sense of humour.

Brad will also be sharing in Albany, Western Australia, on evenings of 6th and 7th November.

You are most welcome to register and join in fellowship and sharing in the Word!
