#UnitedWeBrunch is a brunch for female professionals (we invite all those who identify as such, regardless of orientation or gender conformation). The purpose is to spearhead empowerment and networking for female professionals to cultivate friendships, business partnerships and a support system.
Past guests include: Issa Rae of HBO's show Insecure, Lena Waithe of Master of None, VH1 + Access Hollywood TV Host, Nina Parker, Angelica Nwandu (Founder ofThe Shade Room), Melody Ehsani, Devi Brown and so many more.
Why are we going on tour?
We receive emails and comments on our social media pages requesting our presence in various cities and we WANT to be able to spend time with, collaborate and inspire the women requesting our time. Also, we love to travel!

Who are our guests of honor for the tour? Joining us for our New Orleans stop is Camille Whitworth and KD of Roux Social.
Camille Whitworth is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, crisis consultant, media pro and community servant. Her last television job was at WDSU as co-anchor of WDSU News in New Orleans at 4pm and 6pm, and a Special Assignment Reporter. She spent 13 years with the station.
Before moving to New Orleans, Whitworth worked at WNCN NBC 17, the NBC owned and operated station in Raleigh, N.C. She covered breaking news and generated exclusive stories and interviews. She investigated several stories of national importance and covered the 2002 Winter Olympic games in Salt Lake City, Utah for NBC 17 and NBC’s other owned stations. Camille was regularly featured on networks such as CNN, MSNBC and CNBC.
Prior to that, Whitworth worked at WAVE 3 NBC in Louisville, Ky. She was involved in national coverage of the Kentucky Derby and other hour-long, live programs. She also helped create, plan and co-host an annual awards ceremony, “WAVE 3 STEP Awards” which honored minority community leaders for their excellence in local leadership. While at WAVE, Camille was nominated for an Ohio Valley Regional Emmy Award for Spot News coverage. She is also the recipient of numerous AP Awards and holds honors from the Kentucky Chapter of National Press Photographers Association for excellence in reporting. Before starting her television career Camille graduated from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications.
After college, she moved to Washington DC to start an African American monthly newspaper, The U.S. Tribune. That publication that was a spin-off of The New Orleans Tribune which has been in existence for more than 25 years and still going strong. In the mid 1990’s Camille moved to Philadelphia to work in the music industry. She worked with DJ Jazzy Jeff doing public relations for their company, A Touch Of Jazz. During this stint, Camille put press packets together and did press junkets for artists and did all media relations for the multi tiered company.
Camille is the co owner of Victory and the New Orleans Drink Lab.
KD was born in a medium-sized Louisiana city, not far from the Texas border. KD got her start in marketing by working her way up from the bottom,advancing from an hourly assistant to Content Marketing Manager in a little over a year. By addressing a need for social media marketing in her mid-sized New Orleans hotel, the Content Marketing role was created to stay ahead of the curve in hospitality marketing. Through some bootstrap work and unconventional education, KD is now a certified advanced social media strategist, lending her talents to small businesses through her consultancy, Roux Social.

Having contracted often with high-profile publications, celebrities, and brands like: FADER/Cornerstone, Puma x Fenty for the Rihanna Pop Up (collaboration with Six:02), the Weinstein Company, Converse, Issa Rae, The Weeknd, Red Bull, Newcastle, Microsoft, The Wall Street Journal, Buffalo 8 Productions and more.
In addition to planning + executing events under her company, Waverly has been a professional wedding planner for 3 years and recently served as Associate Wedding Planner at Burlap + Rose.
