Unite for Nepal - Film Night Fundraiser
Unite for Nepal Foundation is pleased to be presenting the UK film premiere of 'Bhukampa' - a film made in the aftermath of the Nepal earthquake on April 25th 2016.
The film aims to raise awareness of the human cost of such disasters, and in particular the widespread and increased number of young and vulnerable people who become targets for human trafficking. 'Bhukampa' takes this ugly and serious issue and presents it in a compassionate and artistically beautiful way.
Unite for Nepal and The Bhukampa Project beleive that every life matters equally, and no human should suffer because of where they were born, who they were born to, or what gender they are, and as such, we hope this film helps everyone reconnect to a life centred on compassion, peace and kindness to all.
Doors will open at 6.30pm and the film screening will begin at 7.30pm.
Drinks will be available inside the event, and Pop Brixton is full of wonderful local food vendors.
Fair Connections will be hosting a stall with incredible handmade and fair trade Nepali products, there will be an exhibition of stunning photography of the Himalayas and plenty of information available about travelling in Nepal.
