TUC Union Representatives Stage 1 course is aimed at new trade union shops stewards or union representatives.
If you have being recently elected or appointed or have attended own union introductory course. This is the course for you.
On the course you will learn:
· understanding how your union works
· How to organise your union in the workplace
· knowing how grievance and discipline cases can be effectively handled
· understanding collective agreements
· working out effective ways of taking up problems of the workplace
You will learn this in an environment that is friendly and with union representatives from other unions.
This is a 10 week long course. Attendance is one day per week and the times 9.30am-4.30pm.

Also, please be aware that only UK based residents, whom have confirmed that they are a union representative from an affiliated Trades Union Congress (TUC) trade union can apply to attend these courses.
