Event description

Description

You are cordially invited to join our Union League Club of Chicago Archive Docents as we find the spirit of the ULCC through seven "Hidden Stories" about how members and their actions influenced Chicago history. These narratives will be generously illustrated with documents and artifacts from the ULCC official archives. This is a rare opportunity to get an inside look at the Union League Club of Chicago Clubhouse and to find out how the ULCC spirit has defined the community and culture of the City of Chicago.

All participants will gather in the first floor lobby at 65 West Jackson Boulevard between 1:30 and 1:45 p.m. and will then be escorted to the ULCC Library on the 4th Floor. Our storytelling event will begin in the Library at 2:00 p.m.

All documents, images, and artifacts used in the presentation will be on display after the program has concluded. ULCC Director of Library & Archives, Cheryl Ziegler, and all Archive Docents will be available to answer questions.

The cost per person is $10 (plus Eventbrite fee). Food and beverage will not be offered at the event. However, our Rendezvous Restaurant will be open and non-menbers are welcome to purchase food and beverages with a credit card (only) after the event. The Union League Club of Chicago adheres to a specific no denim dress code during the week and since this event is on a SATURDAY, dress denim is allowed.

If you have any questions please contact the Union League Club - Club Services at 800.443.0578 / or email Clubservices@ulcc.org.
