Event description

Description

This summer's conference will be a celebration of the Union's 40 remarkable years. Come hear about our history from the pioneers who started it all and be inspired by those leading the effort to raise up the next generation, who will guide us into the future. Enjoy visionary teaching and practical seminars by outstanding UMJC teachers and speakers.

This year's conference features class offerings toward the new UMJC Messianic Educators Certificate and a timely, hands-on class on personal and synagogue security offered by Greg Crane, the founder of ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate), the nation's leading organizational active response and preparedness training experts.

Be sure to check out supplemental conference offerings like the Paint Night (sponsored by UNION Women) and a family-friendly Saturday afternoon field trip to the Skirball Cultural Center, a premier west coast Jewish cultural museum. Pack your dancing shoes for the big 40th Birthday Bash on Saturday night featuring a DJ, dancefloor, bounce house, games, and fun for all ages.

Full registration includes 2 kosher-style meals, access to all workshops and plenary sessions, and the closing night birthday bash. (Certified kosher meal option for an additional charge is available)

Discounted hotel rooms are available if you reserve by June 21st for $150 per night for standard rooms. Please make your hotel reservation after you complete your registration. Click here for hotel reservations.
