Description

Organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Finance Center for South-South Cooperation, "BRIDGE for Cities 4.0" is an annual flagship event that aims to promote the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and establish an urban-centric platform through which cities may share their development successes and challenges, and ultimately forge networks and partnerships.

“BRIDGE for Cities 4.0” will focus on the role of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in fostering urban innovation in cities along the Belt and Road and beyond. During the event mayors, municipal representatives, experts from academia and business sector will discuss the challenges faced by cities around the world in their path to inclusive and sustainable industrial development.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

No, as all the participants have to undergo the security scanning procedure and receive a ground pass to have access to the UN premises in the Vienna International Center.

What I should bring with me in order to have access to the event?

You should bring your passport for the security scanning and your printed ticket(s).

Please, note that it is mandatory to insert personal data as they appear in your passport.

In case I do need VISA to attend the event, what shall I do?

You can directly contact the email address bri@unido.org and request the issuance of an invitation letter.

The registration to the event and the eventual issuance of an invitation letter cannot guarantee the issuance of a Visa. Participants are considered responsible for all Visa-related procedures.

What are my transportation options for getting to and from the event?

As UNIDO is committed to reduce its environmental impact, we strongly encourage participants to use public transport.Take the underground line U1 in the direction of Leopoldau until you reach Kaisermühlen/Vienna International Centre and then follow the signs to Gate 1 of the VIC, the main entrance. The VIC is accessible to people with disabilities.
