UNH's InterOperability Lab: How We Work with the Data Networking Industry

Thursday, April 19th

4:00 – 5:00 PM

UNH Memorial Union Building (MUB) - Theater 1

Join us for an overview of University of New Hampshire's InterOperability Lab (UNH-IOL), a world-renowned full-scale non-profit test lab that works with networking vendors to validate that their technologies work reliably with other vendors’ products.

You name it, they test it: Ethernet, IPv6, data center bridging, Fibre Channel, SATA, Wi-Fi.

UNH-IOL employs nearly 100 UNH students and exposes them to cutting-edge technologies and networking & data communication companies globally.

No other institution offers such extensive hands-on experience with such a variety of technology and equipment. The IOL staff works with customers like IBM, Dell, Cisco, Google, Apple, and Intel. The UNH-IOL is renowned and these companies are eager to hire UNH-IOL students after graduation.

What will you learn?

  • What the market demands are currently in the data networking and technology industry
  • Career advice, including insight into the opportunities well-educated and trained students have after they graduate
  • What it’s like to work in the IOL

Who should attend?

  • Anyone who would like to hear about the demand for, value of and impact that UNH students have in the data networking industry
