The public is invited to view the Moon, planets, stars and nebulae through the Physics Department's new 14" telescope. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about the night sky and ask questions of professors and students. Observation takes place on the roof, so dress comfortably and for the outdoors. There is elevator access to the roof. Telescope viewings can only take place if cloud cover permits. Check the website the day of the event for updates.
The first hour (8:00 - 9:00 pm) is for reservations only so that everyone has multiple opportunities to look through the telescopes. There will be a short introduction before we move to the roof so please arrive on time.
You do not need to bring a printed ticket. We're using Eventbrite just for the registration list.
