Undertanding your Biases

About this Event

The FEB’s Partners in Equality (PIE) Council will host a quarterly meeting in March featuring a topic of interest to EEO/Diversity and Personnel professionals and the general population.

Biases can keep us from seeing others accurately and, therefore, from being able to treat people with the kind of respect that sustains inclusiveness. This presentation, “Understanding Your Biases,” will provide participants with the knowledge and skill to identify bias within themselves and others and the tools to reduce bias along with its impact on our ability to treat people with respect.

DATE: Wednesday, March 4, 2020

TIME: 9 – 10 AM

PLACE: William J. Green, Jr. Federal Building

Room 7/A

600 Arch Street

Philadelphia, PA 19106

PRESENTED BY: Brenda Gillison, Internal Revenue Service

The regular monthly business meeting of the PIE Steering Committee will follow the presentation. Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting.
