Description

A PYSC Members-Only Opportunity

Join PYSC for a workshop with Keva White of VIP Community Services to help us better understand and serve the diverse communities where we work.

This workshop provides participants with knowledge, skills, and best practices for working more effectively with impoverished populations. Keva begins this workshop by helping us acknowledge and shift our cultural lenses, so we look at our work with fresh eyes. By appreciating the causes of poverty and the hidden rules of class, we can be sure our perceptions and biases do not inhibit our working relationships.
