Event description
A workshop where different groups working with older adults will discuss social isolation and loneliness and what is being done to combat it

About this Event

This workshop will bring together different groups working with older adults in the Fredericton area to unpack the growing issue of social isolation and loneliness in seniors.

The goal of the workshop is to assemble a landscape of who's doing what and where in dealing with these two issues, and to find opportunities for co-operation to come up with solutions to combat isolation and loneliness (proposals will be covered in a subsequent workshop).

This will be the first of a series of meetings on this issue brought by the Fredericton Age-Friendly Committee and its partners.

Lunch is included. Please email Anne-Marie for any dietary restrictions or for any questions about the event: annemarie@hartfords.ca

Two barrier-free parking spaces are available next to the lodge and there is a ramp to access the lodge. There is a universally-accessible washroom at the lodge as well.
