The third and final Understanding Root Causes of Inequities convening will explore how school systems can begin to center equity in systems, policies, and practices at different levels including: 1) leadership (district, school, community/family, youth); 2) systems and structures; 3) classroom practice; 4) engaging communities (family, youth, others). The convening will feature a mix of opportunities to learn from practitioners outside of the cohort, reflect on the work that’s been done as part of this initiative, and plan as district teams to move this work forward beyond the end of the grant cycle.
