Description

In this training we discover how Response to Intervention (RTI) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles can be applied for students with special needs in public schools. Parents and the professionals working with them can benefit from understanding more about these specific areas:


1. Special Education Law and the requirements for the use of RTI in diagnosing specific learning disabilities.


2. the practice of RTI in real world special education contexts and how to improve student outcomes with the RTI process


3. the effective use of Universal Design for Learning principles and how it improves access to curriculum and learning for all students
