For some adoptive parents the complexity of attachment is frequently discussed, yet not easily understood. Dr. Vivienne Roseby will present a parent-friendly framework for understanding how early trauma and loss impacts a child’s development from both a psychological and neurological standpoint.
Participants will learn the techniques of Roseby’s three-step parenting approach and get the opportunity to practice the new skills. When used over time, these tools can help foster connection and closeness.
