Understanding Place, Creating Possibility – A Grande Cache Tourism Workshop
You’re invited to join tourism leaders and partners to experience what makes Grande Cache unforgettable — and explore what’s possible.
We’ll walk where rivers meet, hear stories from an Indigenous Knowledge Keeper, paddle a canyon no road can reach, and gather by the fire.
Grande Cache was named in the Northern Rockies Report as a place with real potential to help Alberta reach $25B in tourism by 2035.
This workshop is a step toward that future.

The workshop is hosted by the Grande Cache Tourism Association, with support from event sponsors the Grande Cache Hotel and Wild Blue Yonder Rafting.
Accommodation details will be provided in your registration package. Our host hotel – and event sponsor – the Grande Cache Hotel, is offering rooms and meals at a reduced rate for workshop participants. As space is limited, early booking is recommended.
The fee covers meals, activities, and accommodations. Local participants pay a reduced rate for meals and activities only. Some activities may have an added cost depending on your selection — details are shared at registration.
Dress for mountain weather — think layers, comfortable footwear, and a sense of adventure. For specific activities like rafting, all gear is provided by event sponsor Wild Blue Yonder, including wetsuits and safety equipment. Registration for rafting is separate, and additional detail
This is a rain-or-shine event. We’ll be equipped for changing mountain conditions and adjust the schedule if needed for safety. All activities are run by professional tour operators who are experienced in keeping guests safe, comfortable, and warm — even when the weather shifts.
