Overview

OCD: Beyond stereotypes, exploring lived experience, real challenges, and person-centred understanding around Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Join us for an engaging and insightful workshop on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), designed to move beyond stereotypes and provide a real understanding of what OCD means in everyday life. We’ll explore the myths and stigma, because “everyone is not a little OCD”, and highlight the difference between how OCD is often perceived and what it really is.

Through a mix of lived experience, professional insight, and recomendations of support, this session will equip attendees with the knowledge and tools to better recognise, understand, and support those affected by OCD.

Expect an interactive, person-centred session that balances clinical understanding with real-world application, ideal for professionals, carers, families, and anyone keen to expand their awareness.

📍 The workshop will be held at Hillcroft House, Hillcroft Business Park, Whisby Road, Lincoln LN6 3QT.🚌 A short walk from the Exchange Road bus stop (near Allied Milling and Baking, B1190).
