About this Event

Dive into the fundamentals of nonprofit finance to gain an understanding of how it works and what varying line items mean to be able to clearly and more confidently use budgets as collaborative communication and documentation tools. This conversation will help participants understand: What is unique about nonprofit finance? How does the organizational budget work as compared to a project budget? What are effective ways to prepare a project, exhibition, or grant budget?

This program will be hosted via Zoom. You will receive additional details upon registration.

Meet the Speakers (listed alphabetically) :

Nathalie Apchin, Chief Financial Officer, Peabody Essex Museum

Nathalie has held various financial roles at high-tech and arts organizations. She joined the Peabody Essex Museum in 2016 and is leading the financial strategy for the Museum's $35m budget and $500m endowment. A champion of process improvement and transparency, she is committed to increasing organizations’ financial literacy.

Anthony DiPietro, Associate Director, Administration & Operations, Rose Art Museum

Anthony DiPietro has worked in mission-based organizations since 1998 in diverse fields, serving in chief operations and finance roles and as executive director. Since 2016, he has focused his career as an arts administrator in a higher education setting. An accomplished poet, he also teaches creative writing. His web site is AnthonyWriter.com.
