Event description

Description

In this day and age, IT threats are real. It is no longer a matter of if, rather when. Many organizations are required to go above and beyond the Massachusetts data protection policies requirements, i.e. GDPR, HIPAA, NIS. Do you have a security policy? Do you perform employee background checks? Do you have vendor risk ratings? Do you need to?

Learning Objectives:

  • Help you understand the landscape of IT security
  • Outline areas of possible risk in your organization in relation to databases, files, email, computer network, and personnel
  • Give you the tools to rate the priority of outlined risks
  • How to approach risk remediation and next steps

Who Should Attend:

Any professional, board member, or volunteer of nonprofits of any size.
