Description

Understanding Forgotten Australians, Former child migrants, Stolen Generations and People affected by past and forced adoption practices.

Please register by Friday 3 November, 1.00pm. After this time remaining spots will be offered to people on waitlist.

At this forum you will:

  • Hear lived experiences, develop an understanding of who are the Forgotten Australians, Former child migrants and Stolen Generations, our laws and practices that impacted on them;
  • Develop an un derstanding of past adoption practices and how they were enforced

  • VANISH (Victorian Adoption Network for Information and Self-Help)

Places are limited to 2 per agency, for service providers who deliver Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and/or HACC Program for younger people (HACC-PYP) services within Gippsland Region. If you wish further staff to attend from the one agency please email me to be placed on waitlist, they will be notified the afternoon of Friday 3 November.

Parking available behind office on Fleming St, along Victor St and Cnr Victor St and James St (one minute walk from Lifeline).
