Do you know someone who is living with sight and hearing impairments?

Do you work with or support people who have dual sensory loss?

Are you interested in supporting a locally based charity that changes lives every day?

Thousands of people in the UK are living with sight and hearing loss, this can be difficult, isolating and frustrating…. Drop into this interactive and exciting event to discover what it is really like to experience sight and hearing loss every day, what support is available locally and how you can get involved.

Deafblind UK is a national charity supporting people with sight and hearing loss to live the lives they want. Based at the National Centre for Deafblindness in Peterborough, we offer a range of services to help people to build their confidence and independence; continuing their lives beyond sight and hearing loss.

Who should attend?

Understanding combined sight and hearing loss’ is open to everyone who wants to find out more about support for dual sensory loss and Deafblind UK, including public bodies, residential care homes, local businesses, voluntary, community and faith organisations.

What can I expect?

This is a free, drop in event which is open to all. Come along and enjoy mulled wine and mince pies as you have the chance to experience Christmas with sight and hearing loss.

Can I promote my organisation at the event?

We are offering the opportunity for voluntary and community organisations to promote their activities, please bring along your information.

We are holidng drop in sessions between 11 - 2pm on the 2 dates/locations below - register for tickets.
