Description
If you would like to learn to code in a friendly and open atmosphere the Understanding Code is the course for you. The syllabus will cover the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. You do not need any experience with coding but you will be reasonably adept with computers. For instance if the phrase "drag the window over to the left hand side of the screen to reveal the desktop" sounds like a foreign language to you then this course if probably going to be a bit advanced (sorry).
There will be free wine and beer served courtesy of Campus North and Ignite 100.
The course will run as follows:

18th May - Introduction to HTML
1st June - Introduction to CSS
8th June - Introduction to Javascript
Please bring a laptop with you (Windows, Mac or Linux - we can try to accomodate other operating systems but these are the preferred ones) and if you have a chance downloading the Brackets text editor from the following URL would make things quicker on the day:
