Training Objectives:
-Understand a basic framework for offering general grief support

-Recognize the impact of developmental level and trauma history on grief responses

-Implement grief support interventions specific to clients’ style and developmental level

Tickets: MHSA Network member-$15 Non-MHSA Network member-$30

CEU credits: 2 hours social work


About the speaker:
Cathy Fox has been involved with Ted E. Bear Hollow since 2007. She became the Program Director in 2010. Ms. Fox received her Bachelor of Social Work from Creighton University and her Master of Social Work at the University of Nebraska Omaha. As the Program Director, she is responsible for development, implementation, and management of family services and professional trainings. Ms. Fox also serves on the board of directors for the NASW Nebraska chapter, is an Adjunct Professor at Creighton University and has presented for multiple local and national events.
