About this event
Understanding and Managing Contractors RAMS. £115 +VAT per person
Every organisation relies on contractors to carry out work and it’s an area where most organisations could improve! There is often uncertainty around accountability and responsibility and confusion about what the contractor should be providing and what the client should be asking for!
This half-day session provides an essential overview of what operational teams should know about contractor’s risk assessments and method statements, including why they are so important, what to expect from RAMS and what to do with them!
This short session will help learners answer common questions with confidence:
- Why do we really need RAMS?
- What are we supposed to do with them?
- What do I have to do?
- Who is responsible if something goes wrong?
- Who are the HSE most likely to prosecute?
- What should I be checking?
- Do I need to monitor my contractors and if so how often?
- When should I stop my contractor working?
