Description

In this three-hour training, participants will gain an understanding of the compelling science that explains the relationship between childhood adversity, health, and human behavior. Participants will learn about the findings of the landmark ACEs study, The Polyvagal Theory, the role of the autonomic nervous system in human behavior, and the cost of caring for vulnerable populations (i.e. compassion fatigue).
