Views of inside the dining cabin....
Our tables and benches are handmade by John of the dead cherry and crowded birch which grew on our land and was milled locally. The table is lower than most and encourages a healthy posture.
A low table with seats on the floor....
Winter time is here on the farm....the animals and garden beds are tucked in and covered in snow. During this lull and peaceful time on the land , we are offering our passion for feeding people amazing food for 10 dates this winter/spring season.
Your donation will help our small farm family to thrive this winter and help pay for seeds for our next growing season!
Come connect with community in a heart-warming, joyous, healing, and intimate setting.
Many Blessings and LOVE,
Nyla, John, Jonah, Ara, and Kai
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No ID requirements...no alcohol is being served. But this doesn't seem to be a good location for children do to the small size of the cabin.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We have a large packing lot off the large driveway (which will be plowed and sanded if needed) that you will turn into off of the main road. From there you will have a walk on a wooded path (about 150 feet) which will be lit with solar lights to the cabin where your meals will be served.
What can/should I bring into the event?
Wear good boots for the walk through the woods...we will have the path shoveled and sanded, but still boots are a must! Also bring slippers or a change of socks...whatever you will be comfortable wearing after taking your shoes off in the cabin.
You are welcome to bring your own beer, wine, mead, hard cider..what-have-you. If you do bringing some appropriate glasses might be nice as we only have mason jars for drinking.
If you have a difficult time siting without a chair then you may want to bring a backjack or equivalent.
A sense of adventure and appreciation for an alternative lifestyle. We have a composting toilet.
Description of the facilities...er'...um...the "restroom"
Inside the cabin we have a small restroom which has a sink for washing and a composting toilet. It works very well. All that is required to use this "device" is to put sawdust from the little wooden box adjacent into the toilet after you go. If you need to do more than pee, please use the outhouse which is located along the woods path. This is for the comfort and enjyment of your fellow dining companions. Thank you!
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
You can email us with questions at email@example.com or call 207-568-3261
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You do not have to bring a ticket.
Other important notes....
Our farm and the cabin you will be dining in, is not handicap accessible. We apologize if this keeps anyone from being able to visit our farm.
