Event description

Description

Uncharted: The Berkeley Festival of Ideas, held in Berkeley since 2013, is a two-day festival featuring conversations with leading thinkers, hands-on experiences, musical performances and wonderful food and drink.

You'll find a mix of speakers and ideas at Uncharted that you encounter nowhere else.

We'll be announcing the first set of 2018 speakers in the spring. Among the speakers at the 2017 Uncharted were cognitive linguist George Lakoff, writer Mychal Denzel Smith, Gideon's Promise founder, Jon Rapping, emergency room physician Jessica Zitter, Life After Hate founder Christian Picciolini, economist Heather Boushey, Republican political operative Rick Wilson, and author and academic Joan Williams. See the full roster at BerkeleyIdeas.com.

Designed to engage and inspire, Uncharted is produced by Berkeleyside, Berkeley’s award-winning independent news site.
