About this event
Much progress has been made in realising the ambition of the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit to launch a collective journey of transforming our food systems to give us the best possible chance of delivering on the 2030 Agenda. Everyone has a role to play in this and only by coming together, and challenging one another, can we spark new ideas and create meaningful impact.
Action Track 3 (AT3) focuses on boosting nature-positive production systems at scale to globally meet the fundamental human right to healthy and nutritious food while operating within planetary boundaries.
Get involved
As we move forward with developing game-changing solutions we will be looking at the importance of integration to achieve transformation, both with the other Action Tracks of the Summit and with other global agendas to achieve food security, reverse nature loss and mitigate climate change. This third Public Forum will look to share:
- An update on AT3 and a deeper dive into the solutions submitted and developed so far for the Protect, Manage, Restore working groups.
- A discussion of the interconnectedness of themes with the other four Action Tracks.
- A look beyond the Summit at how nature positive production informs other critical global agendas for change.
In advance, you can review the draft document of proposed action areas and the game-changers. We would like your reflections on the following questions:
- What is one outcome you hope the Summit accomplishes?
- Which of the proposed solutions do you think has the greatest potential?
- What would you add or expand upon in the current solution set?
We welcome you to share ideas for game-changing and systemic solutions to achieve the AT3 goals via this online form. This form will be open until 1 May 2021.
