WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
About this event
The world needs a food system that delivers healthy, safe and nutritious food to all people, everywhere, tackles climate change, protects nature, and ensures a living wage for all farmers and food workers regardless of employment.
For this shift to become a reality, we need to bring the voice of every stakeholder to the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit.
Get involved
The Summit is a historic opportunity to fix our broken food systems. By taking part in the third Action Track 2 Public Forum you will have the opportunity to hear how three work streams are advancing their work on Food Environments, Food Demand, and Food Waste, and then you can contribute to the Summit process by telling us:
- Do you see the emerging propositions as supportive for the achievement of the SDGs? Do you see major gaps?
- Is the current framing of potential game-changing propositions adequate?
- Do you see specific sets of propositions or action areas which would particularly speak to your context, and that you would be interested in joining?
This is your opportunity to be heard and to ask us questions.

More information
Ajay Vir Jakhar (Bharat Krishak Samaj, Farmers’ Forum India) will moderate the discussion and Action Track 2 Chair Gunhild Stordalen (EAT) will outline the next steps.
Helen Harwatt (Chatham House), Lasse Bruun (50by40), and a representative from Workstream 3 (Food Loss and Waste) will present shortlisted solutions, followed by debate, interventions, and Q&A. There will also be polls for all participants to respond to, and a multi-stakeholder lightning round, where representatives are invited to flag the top things that worry them about Action Track 2 or the Summit. Confirmed speakers include Victor Mugo (Co-Chair Youth Liaison Group UNFSS), Emily Heneghan Kasoma (SUN Business Network), and Yon Fernández-de-Larrinoa (FAO Indigenous Peoples Unit).
Also, a synthesis report including the first wave of consolidated game-changing propositions by Action Track 2 is OUT NOW! Check it out here, and if you see gaps or have additional ideas, do share your feedback in this survey here.
