The Ultimate Victoria All Star Game will be a great demonstration of what Ultimate is, bringing together the best players in Victoria, at a great venue, and with a big crowd to watch.
Learn to Play - 2:00pm to 3:15pm
The learn to play session will be run by Dan Rule and is open to people of all abilities and experience. Dan was the coach of the Australian Mixed Team that won Silver at the 2012 World Championships and the Australian Mens Team that won Bronze at 2016 World Championships.
All Star Game - 3:30pm to 5:30pm
The All Star Game will feature Victoria's best male and female players from the East who will battle it out against the best from the West. The teams will feature many players who participated in this year’s World Ultimate Championships in London, including Silver medallists from the Australian Mixed Team, and Bronze medallists from the Australian Men's Team.
If you are not familiar with Ultimate, it is a non-contact team sport played with a frisbee. It combines element of AFL, netball, touch football and grid-iron into a fast paced, athletic sport. It is also self-refereed, even at World Championship level, and as such it focuses on ideas of honesty, integrity and respect.
