Description

We are pleased to invite you to UL’s 6th Annual Innovation Seminar in Santa Clara. This seminar is aimed at providing the attendees a view into the future of transaction technology.

This year’s theme is ‘Open vs Closed Banking’, where we hear from industry experts how recent developments impact the banking and payments industry.

The nature of banking business is fundamentally changing. In recent years, a number of non-bank players have entered the payments market, from startups to high tech giants, as a way to improve the customer experience in their own marketplaces. Ignoring them is a recipe for failure. Cooperating does not automatically guarantee success. One thing is for sure: all the new players in the payment space have disrupted their own industries by cleverly designing strategies on APIs, cloud and platform.

The “go-open” mindset has now reached the banking world.

How can banks renew their infrastructure, cooperate with FinTechs, and learn how to move at Silicon Valley speeds, while meeting the strict requirements demanded by regulators? Is there a real innovation potential of Open APIs? Is the future of payments indeed… not payments?

Attend UL’s 6th Annual Innovation Seminar to gain deep insights from industry experts about:

  • Banks that are mastering their (open) API strategy
  • Profiting from a healthy relationship with FinTechs
  • Successful APIs stories outside the banking world
  • The payment schemes’ view on their novel APIs
  • Empowering merchants with open APIs in the acquiring domain
  • The future of payments… beyond payments!
  • Blockchain as the ultimate open infrastructure?

Join us for UL’s Innovation Seminar 2016 for an exciting day with key industry speakers, panel discussions and networking sessions with UL senior executives and industry peers!
