ULGNOYP Pink Ribbon Jazz Brunch
Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (CDT)
New Orleans, LA
Join the Urban League of Greater New Orleans Young Professionals as we hold our Second Annual Pink Ribbon Jazz Brunch.
We know that annually the month of October is set aside to promote breast cancer awareness and those efforts are geared to reducing the stigma of breast cancer through education on symptoms and treatment. We also know that a disproportionate amount of African-american women die due to breast cancer. As a result, we felt compelled to do our small part in promoting awareness in our community.
Join us on Saturday, October 26th at 11am at the Party Cafe in New Orleans East for great food, music and great information as our special guest from the Sisters' Network comes to share vital information and stories of survival.
To learn more about the Sisters' Network click here:( http://www.sistersnetworkinc.org/history.html)
A portion of the event's proceeds will be donated to the Sisters' Network in support of their great work.
Tickets are moving fast so purchase your ticket early. You can also make an additional donation to support the Sisters' Network if you are so inclined or perhaps cannot attend the event. The deadline for ticket purchases will be October 18th. Tickets will NOT be available for purchase at the door. There will be NO REFUNDS on ticket purchases however tickets are transferable.
So come on out and show your support at this year's brunch. And help us spread the word by sharing this with your friends and family. It is listed on Facebook or share the link: pinkribbonjazz.eventbrite.com.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at email@example.com.
Hope to see you there!
