Have fun learning to play 'ukulele from an experienced educator and professional entertainer with a unique method of forming chords with minimal muscle strain and strumming styles taught by no one else on Maui.
- No need to read music as we play songs by ear without looking at music sheets.
- Adults who can play C, F, and G7 chords confidently will have more fun.
- Discover ways to continue learning on Maui and from wherever you live by private lessons, online lessons, and/or packaged song sets of book/DVD/CD for different skill levels.
COST: $10 for non-members or $5 for museum members payable at-the-door and includes admission to see the largest collection of Hawaiian artifacts in Maui County. A limited number of instruments are available for a rental fee of $10 when you let us know in advance. Come experience the joy of making music the Ukulele Mele Way.
When do I pay the $10 for non-members or $5 for museum members fee for the workshop?
The workshop fee is payable at-the-door of the Bailey House Museum before starting the workshop.
Why does it say the event is free?
It is free to sign up to save-your-seat in advance, but the cost of the workshop is collected at the museum.
What is parking like at the museum?

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Adults of all ages are welcome.

No, we know you're coming. You will be contacted if the workshop needs to be cancelled at the last minute due to weather or other unforeseen events.
