Event description

Description

The FELIX facility in Nijmegen in the Netherlands provides electron-based sources of radiation in the mid- and far-IR into the THz. EPSRC supports the use of the facility by UK scientists as a National Research Facility. Both EPSRC and FELIX encourage its use by communities that have not previously considered using such light sources. The FLUENCE Consortium has been awarded funding to promote this growth in activity. Catalysis has been identified as one of the potential areas where new activity on FELIX might flourish. This meeting will provide the Catalysis Community with an opportunity to learn about the light source and determine the provision needs to deliver new science of the light source.
