UGA School of Social Work and NASWGA Chapter host Licensure Prep Course on February 16, 2019

Facilitator: Dawn Apgar, Ph.D., LSW, ACSW

For 20 years Dawn Apgar has been helping social workers pass the ASWB Licensure Examination! In recent years, she has worked in numerous states to assist with establishing statewide licensure test preparation programs.
Dr. Apgar has researched licensure funded by the American Foundation for Research and Consumer Education in Social Work Regulation and is currently chairperson of her state’s social work licensing board. She is a past President of the New Jersey Chapter of NASW and has been on its National Board of Directors. In 2014, the Chapter presented her with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Apgar has taught in both undergraduate and graduate social work programs and has extensive direct practice, policy, and management experience in the social work field.

Refund Policy

Written requests for refunds must be sent to admin.naswga@socialworkers.org (In Subject Box Write - “Workshop Refund Request”.

Refunds will be issued following a written receipt of a Refund Request according to the following schedule:

1. For cancellation request received 14 business days prior to the workshop: You will receive a 75% refund of your registration fee.

2. For Cancellation requests received 10 business days prior to workshop: You will receive a

50% refund of your registration fee.

3. NO refunds will be issued for any reason: 7 business days prior to scheduled workshop.

4. NASWGA regrets that refunds will not be given for “no-shows.”
