2016 Urban Landscape Summit
Call for Submissions

Abstract Acceptance Notification: January 8, 2016
The 2016 UF/IFAS Center for Landscape Conservation and Ecology Urban Landscape Summit will feature presentations of applied research or extension projects pertaining to urban landscape issues in Florida. Possible urban landscape topics include, but are not limited to, water, landscape management, urban pest issues, social issues, economics, and more.

- Graduate Student Poster Competition
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Submit a 500-word expanded abstract. Accepted oral presentations will have a 15 minute time limit. Oral presentation submissions not selected may be invited to present their topic in poster format. Accepted posters must not exceed 4-ft wide x 3-ft tall. All accepted presentations/posters will have their abstracts printed in the summit proceedings and on the CLCE website. Abstracts can be updated after they have been accepted. Submit a proposal.
Graduate Student Poster Competition
Best Poster Competition: One M.S. and one Ph.D. poster will be awarded as long as there are at least five submission in each category. Participants are judged on importance of the subject to Florida, scientific merit, experimental design rigor, literature review, completeness, clarity, and response to questions. Award recipients will receive a cash award.
