UF/IFAS Extension, Sumter County Florida Friendly Landscaping Series - Night Gardens - May 23rd 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. NOTE FOR MAY ONLY LOCATION CHANGED TO OXFORD COMMUNITY CENTER
Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (EDT)
Night Gardens .
Think outside of the box with your landscape and gardens. Don't just plant for daylight.................plant for those cool nights so you can go out and really enjoy your gardens in the evening.
Susan League, UF/IFAS Extension, Sumter County Master Gardener, will introduce you to the beauty and mystery of night gardens. Learn about the night-blooming plants that only release their scent in the evening to attract specific pollinators. Learn about color schemes that make your garden pop at night. And see how you can really give a spectacular punch to your night garden by using solar lighting. Even if you have seen this presentation before, we have added many more plants and ideas to it.
Due to another booking, we are unable to have our May meeting at the library. For May only, we will meet at the Oxford Community Center.
Join us on March 23 at 1:00 p.m. at the Oxford Community Center, 4027 CR106, Oxford, FL. Register early as these classes are selling out. If you prefer to register offline, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 352-793-2728, Ext. 229 and leave your name, phone and number of tickets required. We will contact you to confirm your reservation.
