UF/IFAS Extension, Sumter County Florida Friendly Landscaping Series - Native Plants in the Landscape - April 25th 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (EDT)
Native Plants in the Landscape
Are you one of those people who thinks that native plants are weedy? Come to this event and get a "plant-a-tude" adjustment! If you like a cottage look, a wild look or a manicured look, you can use native plants to achieve the landscape you love!
Jim Davis, UF/IFAS Extension, Sumter County Agent, will introduce you to our native plants and show you how to incorporate these hardy natives into your landscape. Native plants, planted in the right place (Remember the FFL principle of Right Plant, Right Place) can be quite maintenance free.
Join us on April 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sumter County Service Center, 7375 Powell Road, Room 102, Wildwood. Register early as these classes are selling out.
If you prefer to register offline, email email@example.com or call 352-793-2728, Ext. 229 and leave your name, phone and number of tickets required. We will contact you to confirm your reservation.
