Ufi VocTech Trust is holding a workshop for innovators to find out what we are looking for in our 2020 grant funding calls and learn about our newly established Ufi Ventures fund.
There will be plenty of time to ask questions of the Ufi team, explore ideas and network with other people working in, or with an interest in technologies to assist and accelerate skills development for the workplace. aka #VocTech.
During the workshop you will hear more about:
VocTech Seed 2020
VocTech Seed provides up to £50K in funding for up to 12 months. Projects are at an early stage, solving clearly identifiable vocational learning problems.

Stage 1 opens 21 January 2020, deadline for entries 13 February 2020 (5pm)
VocTech Impact 2020
VocTech Impact provides £150-300K in funding, for projects 18-24 months in length. Projects have proven ideas and are able to show wide social impact. Ufi funding enables large scale piloting and demonstration.
Ufi Ventures
Ufi Ventures offers early stage ventures finance and support that draws on the depth of Ufi’s experience in developing digital technologies for skills needed for work. We can invest from £150,000 up to £1m as equity or debt into early stage companies who share our mission and meet our investment criteria. We are keen to collaborate and co-invest with other value-aligned investors interested in the opportunity presented by the changing nature of work and skills.
Who should attend?
Ufi's VocTech grants are available for technology innovators, learning providers and colleges, employers, as well as other charities, membership bodies or other organisations involved in developing a future-ready workforce. We encourage people to attend who have innovative new ideas about how digital technology can transform vocational learning.
