Event description

Description

DC Water, in partnership with the Water Environment Federation, launched the National Green Infrastructure Certification Program to support a trained and skilled Green Infrastructure workforce. The University of the District of Columbia (UDC) will provide training on Green Infrastructure construction, inspection, and maintenance to District residents (with a high school diploma or equivalent and no additional post-secondary education) which will provide opportunities to become certified and employed in the green infrastructure industry.

DC Water and UDC will conduct two mandatory informational meetings to share information about the program. Please register here to participate in one of the information sessions. The next program training sessions will begin on Monday, September 25 and October 2, respectively. Representatives will be on site to collect qualification information.
