Event description

Description

I Am Not Your Negro - A revolutionary visual representation of the letters and an unfinished novel written by the late activist/author James Baldwin. This profound documentary elucidates a narrative of his perception of race and inequality in modern America. The film is narrated by Samuel L. Jackson and directed by filmmaker Raoul Peck; they shed light on Baldwin’s involvement in the civil rights movement and his personal experiences with his close legendary friends: Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, Jr., Medgar Evers, and his devastation of their assassinations.
