UCSF teaches the life science/healthcare version of Lean LaunchPad in partnership with Berkeley and Stanford in the National Science Foundation’s I-Corps program. This groundbreaking entrepreneurship course enables you to test your venture idea with the marketplace even before you develop a product. Over 750 teams throughout the United States have participated in a Lean LaunchPad program with excellent results. In a short 7 weeks, you will be able to assess if your entrepreneurial idea can become a successful venture by testing your hypotheses in the outside world. You will work with a team and experience hands-on the dynamics of building a company. 60 teams from UCSF and other UC’s have graduated from our Lean LaunchPad class and have found it game changing. The information session will inform you about the Lean LaunchPad framework, let you connect with potential team members and/or find ideas to work on. You should consider taking this course whether or not you have taken any other entrepreneurship classes such as Idea to IPO and Startup 101 – it is different from anything else. Members of the business community, Berkeley and Stanford are welcome.
Lunch will be provided.
