Description
The 5th Symposium for the Institute for Genomic Medicine will be held at the Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine on Monday, October 15, 2018. This meeting calls scientists from all over the nation to come together and contribute their cutting-edge ideas on “Genome and Transcriptome Engineering.” As a platform for researchers to discuss the latest advancements on genomic and transcriptional manipulation, this meeting strives to further uncover breakthroughs in gene-linked diseases and the improvement of healthcare overall. It is a satellite meeting in conjunction with the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) meeting occurring on October 16th through October 20th, 2018.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
A student ID is required the day of the event if you purchase a student ticket. You will not be allowed admittance without one.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The IGM is not responsible for transportation or parking the day of the event. Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine has a pay to park lot and you will be required to purchase a permit at one of the kiosks.
What can I bring into the event?
No food or drink (except water) is allowed into the auditorium.
