What You Will Learn and See in Action
This hands-on course focuses on Cisco® Unified Computing System™ (UCS) deployment and operations starting with an overview of Cisco UCS key architecture, features, and components.
You will learn how to configure and manage Cisco UCS servers with consolidated I/O for LAN and SAN connectivity, and how to virtualize server properties to enable simple and rapid mobility of server OS images between physical servers.
In the labs, you will be implementing an end-to-end Cisco UCS deployment, covering initial system configuration, service profile creation, and server deployment.
At the end of this lab, you will then initialize UCS HyperFlex! Cisco's HyperConverged platform built on the UCS Platform.
To participate in this course, you are required to bring a laptop running Windows XP or higher, including Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. Also, a Remote Desktop Client and Terminal Program (such as Putty) are required. The ability to install new ActiveX components may also be required.
